Mamata Banerjee Blames RSS-BJP for Bengal Violence

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has accused the RSS and BJP of causing trouble and spreading communal violence in the state.

In an open letter, she said, “RSS and BJP are trying to create tension between communities in West Bengal. People should be careful and not fall into their trap. These groups are becoming more aggressive and are using a recent incident to create division among people.”

She warned that these groups want to start riots, which can harm everyone in the state.
“We love all communities and want to live peacefully. We are completely against riots and violence. The BJP and RSS are trying to divide us for political gains,” she added.

Mamata Banerjee urged everyone to stay calm and united.
“Riots must be stopped. We must not lose trust in each other. People from all communities—both majority and minority—should support and protect one another,” she said.

To maintain peace and order, she said that the state government has already taken strict steps.
“We have removed two police officers from their posts, and a full investigation is underway. More action will be taken as needed,” the Chief Minister confirmed.
