Well-known filmmaker Manish Gupta, who has directed films like Section 375, Rahasya, and 420 IPC, has been accused of stabbing his driver during an argument over salary.

According to report, the incident happened earlier this morning. The driver, Rajibul Lashkar (38), filed a complaint at Versova Police Station in Mumbai. He claimed that Gupta attacked him with a knife during a heated dispute about his pay. Rajibul is currently in the hospital receiving treatment for his injuries.
The police have booked Manish Gupta under Section 118 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and have started an investigation. Officials are checking CCTV footage to find out what really happened.
When the police contacted Manish Gupta, he denied all the allegations and said they were false and made up. He also said he is ready to cooperate with the investigation.
Gupta’s lawyer, Dinesh Tiwari, strongly denied the claims. He said that the accusations are part of a scheme to blackmail and extort money from his client. He also alleged that the driver, Rajibul, has a criminal background and is facing a case for bank fraud. According to the lawyer, Rajibul and his associates have made up the story to put pressure on Gupta.
