MG Motor India is set to launch the new Windsor Pro EV tomorrow. This updated version of the Windsor EV comes with several exciting improvements, including a bigger battery, better range, extra features, enhanced safety, and a more high-tech interior.
Exterior
The Windsor Pro looks very similar to the current Windsor EV, with sleek lighting, flush door handles, and connected LED bars. However, it now comes with larger, 18-inch alloy wheels that have a fresh design.

Interior
Inside, the Windsor Pro keeps the same layout as the Windsor, with a large floating touchscreen infotainment system, a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster. The new model will have black and beige leather seats, faux wood trim, and copper accents. The biggest upgrade is the addition of safety features, including an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
Powertrain
The Windsor Pro is expected to have the same electric motor as the original Windsor, with 134bhp and 200Nm torque. It will also drive the front wheels. However, the key upgrade is the battery. The Windsor Pro will likely come with a 50.3kWh battery (the same as the ZS EV), which offers a range of 460km on a single charge. This is a major improvement over the current Windsor’s 38kWh battery, which provides a range of 332km. The Windsor Pro will also have a new feature called V2L (Vehicle to Load), which allows the car to supply power to other devices.
