A tragic incident took place on Saturday at a Walmart store in Traverse City, located in northern Michigan, where at least 11 people were stabbed.
According to Michigan State Police, the stabbing happened inside the store, and the suspect has been arrested. Authorities have not shared many details yet and are still investigating the situation. People are being asked to stay away from the area while police continue their work.
The 11 victims are being treated at Munson Medical Centre in Traverse City. The hospital’s spokesperson, Megan Brown, confirmed that doctors are still checking how serious the injuries are but have not shared more information yet. Munson Healthcare said they will provide updates when possible.

Walmart released a statement saying they are fully cooperating with police and directed all questions to law enforcement.
