A horrifying incident took place at a Moscow airport when a man suddenly grabbed an 18-month-old boy and violently threw him to the ground.

The little boy had just arrived in Russia with his pregnant mother after escaping violence in Iran. While she was collecting his stroller, a man approached, picked up the child, flipped him, and threw him with force.

The child suffered serious skull and spinal injuries and is now in a coma, fighting for his life.

The attacker has been identified as 31-year-old Vladimir Vitkov from Belarus. He was quickly arrested by police after the attack.

Tests showed that Vitkov had cannabis and possibly other drugs in his system. Investigators are trying to find out if the attack was driven by racism or any other motive.

The disturbing video was shared by the Iran in India X (formerly Twitter) account, shocking viewers across the world.

Police believe the man’s violent actions were strongly influenced by drug use. The child was taken to the hospital and remains in critical condition.
