Nick Jonas, who is married to Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra since 2018, recently shared a fun and sweet story from his childhood. Even though Nick and Priyanka are known for their strong and loving relationship today, Nick had his share of crushes and heartbreaks growing up.

In a recent podcast called Podcrushed, hosted by actor Penn Badgley, the Jonas Brothers talked about their first crushes and heartbreaks. While Kevin and Joe Jonas spoke about their serious early relationships, Nick shared a different story — one that started when he was just 8 years old.
Nick said he had a crush on two people at the same time during a theatre play called A Christmas Carol, which he was part of as a child actor. He mentioned one of his castmates, a girl named Lily, and also the child wrangler — a person who looks after kids on set when their parents aren’t around. Nick joked that he felt like he was in a “mini love triangle.”
Even at that young age, Nick was shy and didn’t want either Lily or the child wrangler to find out about his feelings. He tried to stay calm and act cool around them.
Later in the podcast, Nick also opened up about his first heartbreak, which happened when he was about 11 or 12. He said that going through that pain actually helped him turn to music to express his emotions — and that became a big part of who he is today.

Nick said, “I’m really thankful that I had music as a way to handle those feelings.”
Today, Nick and Priyanka are proud parents to their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas and are admired by fans all over the world for their beautiful bond.
