Jensen Huang has a clear message for Dario Amodei: stop spreading fear about the future of AI.
The Nvidia CEO recently said he “pretty much disagrees with almost everything” the Anthropic CEO is saying. His words come after Amodei predicted that AI could wipe out 50% of entry-level white-collar jobs within 5 years.

But Huang isn’t buying it. He thinks this view underestimates the power of human adaptability — and the ability of technology to create new roles.
Why Jensen Huang Disagrees with Dario Amodei
Jensen Huang made these comments at VivaTech in Paris. There, he challenged the dramatic view that Artificial Intelligence will destroy more jobs than it will create.
“One, he believes that AI is so scary that only a few should do it. Two, it’s so expensive nobody else should do it. And three, it’s so powerful it will destroy all these jobs. That’s not true.” Huang said boldly.
Instead, Huang insisted AI will create more opportunities. “Every time companies become more productive, they hire more people. Jobs will evolve and grow in a different direction.”

Why An Open Approach Is Better
For Huang, the future of AI is not something a small group should control in a “dark room.”
“If you want things to be done safely and responsibly, you do it in the open … not in a dark room.”
This view highlights his confidence in the industry’s ability to innovate safely — through collaboration and competition.
Quantum Computing’s Rising Role
Jensen Huang is not just thinking about AI — he’s also excited about quantum computing.
He explained at GTC Paris that this technology is at an “inflection point.” Quantum computing, teamed up with classical computing, could soon solve problems we never thought were solvable.
Huang says this combination — hybrid computing — will empower innovators across sectors.
Final Thoughts
Jensen Huang’s view is clear: the future is not something we should fear; it’s something we should be excited about.
Instead of worrying about job losses, we should be preparing ourselves for a world filled with new roles, opportunities, and innovations.
As Huang put it, “Every time we become more productive, we grow.”
So let’s move forward with confidence, not fear.
