Samsung has launched the world’s first 500Hz OLED gaming monitor, the Odyssey OLED G6. It is initially available in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, with plans to expand to more countries later this year.
This new monitor is a big step forward for gaming, continuing Samsung’s leadership in the gaming monitor market. Samsung has been the top brand for gaming monitors for six years and has led in OLED gaming displays for two years.

“Samsung is leading the way in gaming monitor technology with new innovations that change how gamers experience their games,” said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics. “With the Odyssey OLED G6, the world’s first 500Hz OLED monitor, we are taking gaming performance and visual quality to new levels, making gaming even more immersive.”
The Odyssey OLED G6 has a 27-inch screen and offers top-notch gaming performance. It features a 500Hz refresh rate, ultra-fast 0.03ms response time, and a sharp QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, powered by QD-OLED technology. This means that games will look smooth, clear, and responsive, even during fast-paced action.

The monitor also offers vivid colors and deep blacks with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. It supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro, which reduces screen tearing and ensures smooth visuals for a better gaming experience.
Designed for long gaming sessions, the Odyssey OLED G6 has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and Samsung’s Glare Free technology, which reduces screen reflections so gamers can stay focused on the game. The monitor is also built with OLED Safeguard+ to prevent burn-in, ensuring its visual quality lasts for years.
Additionally, the Odyssey OLED G6 is Pantone Validated, meaning it accurately displays over 2100 colors and 110 skin tones from Pantone’s library. This helps bring game graphics to life with true-to-life visuals, just as game developers intended.
