
OnePlus is preparing to launch a new phone called the OnePlus Nord 5, which will follow the Nord 4 from last year. The Nord 5 has been spotted on a certification website, revealing some details about its battery and charging speed. While the company hasn’t confirmed much yet, rumors suggest the Nord 5 might be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition, which will be released in China soon.
What We Expect from the OnePlus Nord 5

The OnePlus Nord 5 has been listed on the TUV Rheinland website, a global testing and certification group. The phone, with the model number CPH2079, is linked to OnePlus, but the official name hasn’t been confirmed yet.

One of the key features confirmed by the listing is that the Nord 5 will have a large 6,550 mAh battery. This is a big upgrade compared to the 5,500 mAh battery in the Nord 4. The new phone will also support 80W fast charging, which is a bit slower than the 100W fast charging of the Nord 4.

Earlier reports suggest that the OnePlus Nord 5 could be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5V, which is set to launch in China soon. It is expected to have a 6.77-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. The phone might feature a dual rear camera setup, with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera, along with a 16MP front camera for selfies.
