In a major blow to Naxal insurgents, over 26 Naxals were killed during an ongoing encounter with security forces along the Narayanpur-Bijapur border in Chhattisgarh.
The intense operation has been underway for more than 50 hours in the dense forests between Abhujmad and Indravati national park areas, involving a joint team of District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel from four districts.

This significant development marks a strong move against the Naxal threat, which has troubled the region for decades. According to police officials, the operation is still ongoing, with more details expected once it concludes.
The Naxals have long disrupted daily life, causing fear and instability. Security operations like this are tough, but they aim to restore peace and allow residents to live without constant threat.
Chhattisgarh’s thick forests have often been a Naxal hideout, but with determined efforts from forces like the DRG and support from national leadership, there is renewed confidence in pushing Naxalism out of the state.

The Human Cost and Courage on Both Sides
The operation, however, is not without sacrifice. Recently, three personnel from the elite Greyhounds force lost their lives in an IED blast in neighboring Telangana, and several others were injured. The security forces’ bravery is undeniable, and as CM Vishnu Deo Sai put it, “We salute the courage of our brave jawans…”
On the Naxal side, reports suggest that senior cadres, including top leaders, may have been eliminated. The loss of such figures is a critical setback for the insurgents.
This operation is part of a broader campaign led by the central government. Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently assured citizens that India aims to be Naxal-free by March 31, 2026.
This clear deadline shows the government’s commitment to ending decades of conflict that have hindered development and safety in many tribal regions.
In the words of PM Narendra Modi, under whose leadership these efforts have intensified, rooting out Naxalism is not just about security but ensuring progress for every citizen.
A Sharp Truth with a Coffee Chat Vibe
Let’s be honest—Naxalism has been that stubborn Wi-Fi dead zone in India’s progress signal for too long. Every time you think the connection’s strong, bam—disruption. But this operation? It’s like the tech team finally rebooted the system with extra firepower.
Sure, the fight isn’t over yet. But watching these security forces push deep into the jungle maze and bring down key players makes you think maybe the 2026 deadline is more than just a number on paper.
It’s a real shot at turning off the dark side of this story.
