
Security forces have shared sketches of three terrorists involved in the deadly attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 26 tourists. The attackers are linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and at least two of them are believed to be foreigners. Authorities are working hard to catch the terrorists and understand their plans behind the attack.
The Resistance Front, a group connected to the banned terror organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, has taken responsibility for the attack. In response, Union Home Minister Amit Shah quickly arrived in Kashmir to review the situation with local leaders like Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in Saudi Arabia at the time, returned early to India. He strongly condemned the attack, assuring that the victims’ families will receive all help. He promised that those responsible would be brought to justice and that India’s fight against terrorism would continue to grow stronger.
Home Minister Amit Shah paid his respects to the victims before their bodies were flown back to their homes. He emphasized that India would not be defeated by terrorism and vowed that the attackers would be punished.
Survivors of the attack reported that the terrorists asked victims about their religion before shooting them. The bodies of the deceased are now being sent back to their families. The Civil Aviation Ministry has instructed airlines to manage ticket prices so tourists stuck in Kashmir can return home.
