Pakistan Claims War Is Coming—But They’ve Forgotten One Big Thing

Pakistan has raised the alarm that India could launch military action “within the next 24–36 hours,” following the brutal Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 Hindu tourists in Jammu and Kashmir.

Islamabad claims it has “credible intelligence” about an imminent Indian strike. What a joke!

The problem? India isn’t threatening war. It’s demanding justice.

If you’re an Indian watching the news this week, here’s what matters: Innocent civilians were murdered in cold blood. The killers singled out Hindus by name. And now, Pakistan—whose nationals are among the terrorists that attacked, wants to lecture India on “baseless” accusations?

Let that sink in.

Pahalgam Massacre: A Chilling Throwback to Past Horrors

On April 22, terrorists armed with assault rifles opened fire on a group of unarmed pilgrims and tourists. Survivors say the attackers asked for names, separated Hindus from Muslims, and shot at close range.

Among the three attackers identified, two were Pakistani nationals. India’s intelligence agencies say they were trained militants who crossed the Line of Control.

Pakistan’s Playbook: Deny, Deflect, Distract

True to form, Pakistan has denied any role. Instead, it called for a “neutral investigation”—a familiar delay tactic. But the evidence, including intercepted communications and recovered weapons, points clearly across the border.

Meanwhile, India has taken swift diplomatic steps. The Indus Waters Treaty, a long-standing bilateral agreement, has been put on hold. Airspace routes are being revised. And the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS)—led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi—has met twice since the incident to review military options.

Modi’s Message: No Tolerance for Terror

PM Modi has told top military brass they have full freedom to decide India’s response. That isn’t warmongering—it’s leadership. And when citizens are killed in such gruesome fashion, doing nothing would be unacceptable.

India’s army also reported six consecutive ceasefire violations by Pakistan this week. Gunfire has flared up along the border, yet Pakistan says it’s the victim. It’s like watching an arsonist yell “fire” after tossing the match.

The World Watches—But Says Little

The UN Secretary-General, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Britain have all urged restraint. Yet few have acknowledged Pakistan’s direct link to the violence. The usual calls for “both sides to de-escalate” ring hollow when only one side is burying its dead.

Pakistan wants to avoid confrontation? Here’s an idea: stop exporting terror. If you can’t own up, stop encouraging terrorism among your people.

For Indians, this isn’t just another news cycle. It’s a gut punch. Pahalgam is a place of pilgrimage and peace, not the site of a massacre. The people demand answers, not press conferences. Justice, not “neutral probes.”

If India strikes back, it won’t be an escalation. It will be the result of patience running out. Its’s about our people’ our safety and honor.
