Pakistan is back in the headlines. But this time, it’s not for a serious attack or a big incident. It’s for something ridiculous. Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif recently made bizarre comments about a “cyber attack” on India. According to him, Pakistan hacked the floodlights of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and opened the gates of our dams — all from a computer!
This claim has become a huge joke in India. His video went viral on social media. People were stunned by the wild imagination of a Defence Minister. Some called it a “comedy show.” Others questioned if Pakistan’s leaders were living in their own world.

Pakistan Becomes a Meme Again
Asif’s comments made everyone laugh. “If turning off a light is a cyber attack, then my 3-year-old is a hacker. He once turned off our home’s WiFi during a Zoom meeting!” a person tweeted. Another added, “50% of Pakistan’s population is mentally ill, Dawn reports. So we should just watch these jokers putting up a show for us.”
Operation Sindoor Shows India’s Will
Asif’s bizarre comments come weeks after India’s Operation Sindoor. On April 22, a cowardly attack in Pahalgam was a big shock. But we responded strongly and quickly. India struck back and destroyed several terrorist launch pads in Pakistan. Our army and security forces made sure the attackers got a clear message — we will not be weak.
Also, when Pakistan tried to attack back with drones and missiless, we successfully intercepted most of their attacks. Our soldiers kept us safe. After this, a mutual ceasefire was announced on May 10. But just hours later, Pakistan tried sending drones again. It shows how much we can trust their promises.

Pakistan’s Comments Provide Comic Relief
Meanwhile, back home in India, we are laughing at Pakistan’s wild stories. At a time when we are strengthening our borders and protecting our people, their Defence Minister is busy talking about hacked floodlights. It’s a perfect reflection of their weakness and confusion.
Instead of focusing on developing their country or improving education and health care, Pakistan’s leaders are spinning conspiracy stories. It highlights their poor judgment and their detachment from reality.
We, as Indians, are proud of our army and our unity. We have made it clear that we will respond strongly to terrorism. But we will also treat ridiculous statements from Pakistan with the humor they deserve.
Pakistan tried a cyber attack on IPL floodlights and dams — or at least that’s their wild claim. But we know the truth. Our soldiers stay strong and vigilant, protecting us from all attacks — real or imaginary.
