
Patel Engineering has won a major irrigation project in Maharashtra. The work will be done on the Nira Deoghar Right Bank Main Canal, covering areas between kilometer 87 to 135, and also includes smaller canals from kilometer 65 to 135.
The job involves digging and refilling trenches for pipes, building structures, and laying down pipes. It also includes installing valves, chambers, and outlets, testing the entire system, and maintaining it for five years after the project is finished.

Patel Engineering had earlier been named the lowest bidder (L1) for this government project. The project is expected to be completed in 36 months. It will take place in Kalaj village, Phaltan Taluka, Satara district, Maharashtra.
This project will be carried out by a joint venture in which Patel Engineering holds a 20% share.
Kavita Shirvaikar, Managing Director of Patel Engineering, said, “We are happy to receive this project from the Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation. It will help improve irrigation and support farming in the region. We see this as an investment in rural growth and better water management.”
