The Air India flight 171 tragedy has left countless hearts broken — but for the family of Pratik Joshi, it meant the abrupt end of a new beginning.

Pratik, a software professional based in London for nearly 6 years, had a dream many relate to. His wife, Dr. Komi Vyas, a renowned doctor in Udaipur, and their 3 young children were finally going to be united with him in the UK. After years of hard work, patience, and countless clearances, their future seemed within reach. Komi had resigned from her job just two days earlier, the bags were packed, and the family was excited to start a new life together.

This morning, filled with hope and happiness, the family boarded Air India flight 171 to London. They clicked a selfie, sent it to their relatives, and settled into their seats — ready to embark on their greatest journey yet.

But tragedy struck soon after. The aircraft crashed, and there were no survivors. A moment filled with promises was suddenly gone, and a family’s future fell from the sky in the blink of an eye.

The Air India 171 tragedy underscores a painful reality: life hangs by a thread. The plans we make, the journeys we pursue, the happiness we wait for — it all can vanish in a moment.

As we mourn this immense loss, we are reminded to live and love now. To appreciate our blessings today instead of putting happiness on hold for a future we may never see. The Joshi family’s story is not just a headline — it’s a heartbreaking warning for all of us to embrace life while we can.
