The buzz around Ram Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor’s alleged fallout has finally been addressed—by the man himself. After weeks of subtle digs and viral posts, the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actor has decided to clear the air, and he’s done it with grace, honesty, and a sharp sense of loyalty.
In an interview with NDTV, Ram Kapoor said he does not wish to fuel the drama anymore. Instead, he expressed deep gratitude for Ekta Kapoor, the producer who gave him his first major break in television.
“She can say whatever she wants to, but I will not say a word,” Ram said. “Because at the end of the day, she gave me what no one gave me. She believed in me when nobody else did. And for that, I will always be grateful.”
This statement comes after weeks of speculation that the actor and producer had a fallout. Earlier, Ram had hinted that Ekta had issues with his romantic scenes in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. That comment triggered Ekta’s sharp post on Instagram, where she wrote:
“Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up.”
She also added, “There is dignity in silence.”
Later, Ekta Kapoor made another cryptic post, this time joking about body image, writing: “Hum bade hi acche lagte gain.”
Adding to the fire, Ram Kapoor’s wife, Gautami Kapoor, reportedly took a playful jab back at Ekta’s weight comment. But Ram played it down in the interview, saying, “My wife knows where I stand. It was all in good fun. You cannot forget what someone has done for you.”
Ram Kapoor made it clear—he won’t fight someone who gave him his start.
This isn’t the first time the actor has taken the high road. His recent move shows he’s not here for petty social media wars. In a world where celebrity feuds blow up overnight, Ram Kapoor is choosing dignity over drama.
What’s Next for Ram Kapoor?
Ram will soon appear in Mistry, a detective drama premiering June 27 on JioHotstar. The show also stars Mona Singh, Shikha Talsania, and Kshitish Date.
