
The upcoming film ‘Ramayana’, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana, and Sai Pallavi as Sita, is set to be one of the biggest Indian movies ever made. The film is expected to release in Diwali 2026, with its second part coming a year later on Diwali 2027.

Dubbed in Multiple International Languages
According to reports, the film will be dubbed in many international languages, including English, Japanese, and Mandarin, making it accessible to a global audience. However, the producers have decided to keep all the Sanskrit shlokas and devotional songs in their original form to maintain the cultural and spiritual essence of the story.

Aiming for Global Standards
The film’s producer Namit Malhotra, who has worked on Hollywood movies like ‘Dune’ and ‘The Dark Knight’, said that ‘Ramayana’ will match the level of Hollywood blockbusters like ‘Dune’ and ‘Avatar’ in terms of quality, visuals, and storytelling.
Massive Budget and High-End VFX
The film is being made with a massive budget of over ₹4,000 crore and will be released in two parts. It will feature top-notch VFX, grand sets, and advanced filmmaking technology, aiming to set new standards for Indian cinema.
Currently, the first part has been shot, and the team is working on completing the second part.
