Social media influencers Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija recently appeared the National Commission for Women (NCW) regarding a controversial remark made on comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. The remark, about “watching parents have sex,” sparked outrage.
The NCW chief, Vijaya Kishore Rahatkar, shared that both influencers submitted an apology letter and expressed regret over the incident. She also mentioned that they would be called again for further questioning.
Ranveer admitted that he couldn’t undo what had happened but assured the panel that he would be more careful in the future.

Rahatkar criticized the use of inappropriate language, stating that the commission would not accept such remarks.
“I strongly condemn these statements. We took action on our own because of their impact on society,” she said.
“We have informed them that using such language could lead to action against them,” she added.
Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija appeared before the National Commission for Women (NCW) on Thursday. The producers of the show, Saurabh Bothra and Tushar Poojari, along with the lawyers of comedian Jaspreet Singh and YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, also attended the hearing.
Each person met with the Commission individually. Sources said Allahbadia and Mukhija were questioned for hours and expressed regret over the incident.
The NCW took strict action against the vulgar and offensive remarks made by Allahbadia, Mukhija, Raina, Jaspreet Singh, and Ashish Chanchlani on the show. They summoned them along with Poojari and Bothra for questioning.
