Ranveer Singh, known for playing romantic roles, villains, and even Don, might soon be trying something totally new — a horror-comedy!
As per a recent report, Ranveer is in advanced talks with Maddock Films to join their famous horror-comedy universe. This franchise started with the hit movie Stree and now includes Bhediya and Munjya.
Maddock’s horror-comedy world already stars big names like Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshay Kumar. Now, Ranveer Singh could be the next big addition, possibly leading the next movie that may include some exciting crossovers in future films.
A source close to the production said, “Ranveer has been talking to producer Dinesh Vijan for a while now. He was even spotted at the Maddock Films office recently. The team wants fresh energy for the next chapter, and Ranveer is excited to try this new genre. The official paperwork is expected to be done soon.”
However, there is a small challenge — Ranveer is currently super busy. He’s finishing up his action film Dhurandhar, which stars Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Akshaye Khanna. Plus, he has already signed on for Don 3 with Farhan Akhtar. So, the makers are working on adjusting the schedules.
If everything goes well, this spooky new project could begin filming in early 2026.

As of now, there’s no official confirmation from Ranveer Singh or Maddock Films, but fans are definitely excited about the possibility!
