Royal Enfield’s first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6, has been seen testing in India for the first time. The bike was first shown to the world at the EICMA 2024 motor show.
The test version seen on Indian roads looks exactly like the one shown at EICMA. It even had a separate seat for a pillion (passenger). One of the most unique parts of its design is the girder suspension at the front, which is a modern version of what the original Flying Flea used.

The Flying Flea C6 is mainly made for city riding but can also handle short trips outside the city. However, it’s not meant for long-distance travel, according to Royal Enfield. The bike has been developed completely in-house, and all future electric bikes from the company will be launched under the Flying Flea brand.
This electric motorcycle is built on an aluminium frame with a magnesium battery casing, which helps in keeping the bike light and cool.
In terms of features, the Flying Flea C6 comes with a round full-TFT digital display that shows riding data. The screen is Bluetooth-enabled, so you can connect it with your phone using an app. Impressively, it also has traction control and cornering ABS, making it the first Royal Enfield bike to include these advanced safety features.

As of now, details about the bike’s battery size and electric motor haven’t been shared yet. These will likely be announced closer to the official launch in 2026, when bookings will also start.
