
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received a fresh death threat. On Monday morning, a threatening message was sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police’s WhatsApp helpline. The message warned that someone would kill Salman Khan at his house and blow up his car with a bomb.
The Mumbai Police have filed a complaint and started an investigation. The police are trying to find out who sent the message and where it came from.

Multiple Threats to Salman Khan in the Past
This is not the first time Salman Khan has faced such threats. In the last two years, he and his family, including his father Salim Khan, have received several death threats.
Last year, some men fired shots outside his house at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. These attackers were linked to the Bishnoi gang. Because of these repeated threats, the actor’s security was increased.
There was also a plan to kill Salman Khan at his Panvel farmhouse. Police say the shooters were sent by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, which has been targeting Salman.
Lawrence Bishnoi has openly said that he wants Salman to apologise for the blackbuck poaching case from the 1990s. Blackbucks are sacred to the Bishnoi community. However, the court has cleared Salman Khan in the case.

What’s Next for the Investigation?
Police have filed a case against an unknown person and are working to track them down. Authorities are taking the Salman Khan death threat very seriously due to the history of previous attacks and threats.

Recently, Salman Khan appeared in the movie Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film was released during Eid. It made over ₹200 crore worldwide and around ₹109 crore in India. However, the movie is now slowing down in earnings and may not reach ₹250 crore, which is considered below expectations for a Salman Khan film.
