When security escorts outnumber fans, life changes forever—Salman Khan reveals how death threats have turned his world upside down.
Salman Khan, one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, recently spoke about the constant death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. These threats have forced him to live under tight security, impacting his daily life and freedom.
Khan shared, “God decides how long I’ll live. But sometimes, the heavy security makes even simple outings difficult.” Last year, Bishnoi’s gang fired shots outside Khan’s home, escalating fears. Police later uncovered a plot to attack him on his way to his farmhouse.

The threats grew worse in October when a ransom demand arrived via WhatsApp. The message warned Khan and politician Zeeshan Siddique of dire consequences if they didn’t comply.
Another demand in November asked for ₹5 crore and an apology for the 1997 blackbuck poaching case—a sensitive issue for the Bishnoi community.
Despite the dangers, Khan remains focused on work. His upcoming film, Sikandar, releases on Eid. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the movie features Rashmika Mandanna and others. Khan now limits his travel to only home and film sets, saying, “It’s just Galaxy to shoot and back—nothing else.
