Samsung has many exciting products lined up this year, and one of the most talked-about devices is the Galaxy S25 FE. This phone is expected to offer high-end features at a budget-friendly price, making it a great value for money. To keep the price low, Samsung has to make some compromises, but now a new report suggests that the phone could actually come with a better processor than expected.
Samsung Might Replace Exynos 2400e with Dimensity 9400 Chip
Samsung has been planning to use its own Exynos 2400e chip in the Galaxy S25 FE. However, if there aren’t enough of these chips available, the company might use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 instead.

While MediaTek chips are usually found in mid-range phones, the Dimensity 9400 is a powerful and advanced processor made using the 3nm process by TSMC. This makes it more expensive but also much faster and more efficient than the Exynos 2400e.
Why the Change?
The possible switch is due to a potential shortage of the Exynos 2400e chip. Samsung might not be able to produce enough of them to meet the demand for the Galaxy S25 FE. If that happens, the Dimensity 9400 would be the backup option.
Still, Samsung is expected to try its best to stick with its in-house Exynos chip, as it helps the company manage costs better. But in case of supply issues, switching to the Dimensity 9400 could be a smart move.
Will the Price Go Up?
Even if Samsung uses the more powerful and expensive Dimensity 9400, the price of the Galaxy S25 FE is not expected to increase. Samsung wants to keep the phone affordable, which is its main selling point. If the Dimensity chip is used, it could give the phone a big performance boost, making it even more attractive to buyers without raising the cost.
