Shah Rukh Khan recently won the Best Actor award at the 71st National Film Awards, sharing the honour with actor Vikrant Massey. Soon after the announcement, SRK posted a video message on Instagram to thank his fans, family, and the team behind his film ‘Jawan’. But fans noticed something surprising — his right arm was in a cast.

Why Was Shah Rukh Khan’s Arm in a Cast?
Shah Rukh hurt himself while shooting for his upcoming movie ‘King’. The injury happened during an intense scene directed by Siddharth Anand at a studio in Mumbai.
According to reports, it’s a muscle injury and not very serious. However, he still travelled to the United States for medical treatment and has been advised to rest for one month.

‘King’ Shoot Delayed
Due to his injury, the film’s shoot scheduled for July and August has been postponed. The filming will resume once Shah Rukh recovers. ‘King’ is a special film as it stars Suhana Khan, SRK’s daughter, alongside him — their first on-screen appearance together.
SRK’s Light-Hearted Message Despite the Injury
In his video message, Shah Rukh wore a black polo shirt, black pants, and a grey beanie. He joked about his injury in the caption:
“Overwhelmed with the love showered upon me. Half a hug to everyone today.”
He also told fans in the video:
“I’d love to spread my arms and show my love, but I’m a little injured. Don’t worry, just keep the popcorn ready. I’ll be back in theatres soon!”
He then did his famous arms-wide pose, this time using just one arm.
