Smriti Mandhana has made cricket history! On Saturday, she became the first Indian woman cricketer to score a century (100 or more runs) in all three formats of international cricket – Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and T20 Internationals (T20Is).

This special moment happened during the first T20I match between India Women and England Women at Trent Bridge. Smriti, who was also the captain, played an amazing innings of 112 runs from just 62 balls. Her knock included 15 boundaries (fours) and 3 big sixes.
Thanks to her brilliant batting, India posted a strong total of 210 runs for 5 wickets – their highest-ever T20I score against England. This century was also Smriti’s first in T20Is, helping her complete a rare achievement no other Indian woman has managed before.

Smriti played smart and powerful shots, especially against England’s top bowler Sophie Ecclestone, showing confidence and skill. She got good support from Harleen Deol, who scored 43 runs off 23 balls, and Deepti Sharma, who remained not out with 7 runs from 3 balls.
England’s Lauren Bell took three wickets, but the damage had already been done by India’s strong batting.
Mandhana’s achievement is a big deal – only a few cricketers in the world, men or women, have scored centuries in all three formats. This makes her one of the greats of the game.
Her performance is not just a personal win, but a proud moment for Indian women’s cricket. It will surely inspire many young girls to dream big and break records.
Once again, Smriti Mandhana has shown why she is the shining star of Indian women’s cricket – bold, reliable, and always ready to make history.
