This new plan was launched today in Srinagar. Justice Surya Kant, Executive Chairman of NALSA and the next Chief Justice of India, announced it himself. It’s a proud moment for India.
The plan says clearly: You serve the country at the borders, we will take care of your family at home.
Why This Scheme Matters
Many soldiers are posted in far-away places. They don’t get enough leave. Some cannot even go home for years. But life at home goes on. There are family problems, land issues, or property cases. Soldiers cannot attend court cases happening in their village or city.
Now, NALSA Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana 2025 will make sure their families get free legal support from trained lawyers in local courts. The soldier doesn’t need to worry anymore.
From Operation Sindoor to Legal Justice
This idea started after Operation Sindoor, where many army men made huge sacrifices. Justice Surya Kant saw their pain. He said the legal system must also support those who defend India. That’s how this scheme was born.
Who Gets Help?
This is not just for the army. The scheme also supports:
- BSF (Border Security Force)
- CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force)
- ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police)
- And other paramilitary forces
Any soldier or officer who is posted in risky or remote places can now feel at ease.
A Proud Move Before History
Justice Surya Kant will become the Chief Justice of India on November 24. Before that, he has already made history by launching this plan. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and J&K leaders like Manoj Sinha and Omar Abdullah joined the launch.
