Somnath Chatterjee, the Managing Director of Suraksha Diagnostics, said, “This acquisition fits with our goal to provide complete healthcare services. It strengthens our abilities in maternal and fetal medicine, helping us offer better services for our patients.”

Currently, Fetomat Wellness operates two centers in Kolkata. Suraksha plans to use a “shop-in-shop” model to grow its fetal medicine services. Ritu Mittal, CEO of Suraksha Diagnostics, mentioned that this is the company’s first acquisition since it went public, and they aim to open 12-15 new centers each year while exploring other growth opportunities.
