The wait is almost over! The much-anticipated Tata Harrier EV is all set to hit the roads in the coming weeks. However, the official launch date is yet to be announced. The SUV was first shown as a concept at the 2023 Auto Expo, and its final version was revealed at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show in January. Here’s a look at everything we know so far about this electric SUV.
Tata Harrier EV Interior
Tata recently released a teaser, giving us a sneak peek at the Harrier EV’s features. It will have a floating touchscreen infotainment system, similar to the one in its petrol/diesel version, likely around 12.3 inches in size. Other key features include:
- Digital instrument cluster
- Four-spoke steering wheel
- Touch-based climate control panel
- Dual-tone dashboard
- Panoramic sunroof
- Electronic parking brake
The center console features a stubby drive selector and a rotary dial, just like in the regular Harrier. However, the EV version will include exclusive EV-specific graphics on the infotainment and instrument cluster.
It will also come with advanced features like: New terrain modes, Over-the-air (OTA) updates, Connected car technology, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities.
For the safety Purpose, the Harrier EV will offer: 7 airbags, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System),Tyre pressure monitoring system

Tata Harrier EV Exterior
The Harrier EV looks very similar to its fuel-powered version but comes with a few changes to highlight its electric identity. These include:
- A closed-off front grille
- Revised front and rear bumpers with EV-specific design elements
- New dual-tone aero-optimized alloy wheels
- EV’ badging on the front doors and tailgate
Tata Harrier EV Battery & Range
The Harrier EV is built on Tata’s Gen 2 Acti.ev platform, which is an improved version of the Omega platform. It will feature an AWD (All-Wheel Drive) system,
- It has one electric motor on each axle
- Power is distributed to all four wheels depending on the road conditions
- It offers better traction, making it great for off-roading, rainy weather, and slippery roads
Unlike the regular Harrier, which has a torsion beam setup, the EV version will come with a multi-link rear suspension, which improves ride comfort.
Tata has not revealed the exact battery details yet, but the Harrier EV will offer:
A peak torque of 500Nm, Multiple battery options, A claimed range of over 500 km on a full charge

Tata Harrier EV Price
The expected price of the Harrier EV is:
Rs 25 lakh for the base variant
Rs 30 lakh for the top variant (ex-showroom)
With its modern features, long range, and AWD capabilities, the Tata Harrier EV is expected to be a strong contender in the growing electric SUV segment
