In Q1 FY26, Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. (TPREL) hit a new high. With 45,589 rooftop solar installations, it recorded a stunning 416% growth over Q1 FY25’s 8,838. That’s not just good business—it’s a loud, clear step toward India’s clean energy future.

This isn’t just about numbers. It’s about what those numbers mean. More rooftops with solar means less dependence on fossil fuels, lower electricity bills for Indians, and a stronger push toward energy independence.

A Solar Sprint, Not Just a Step

With this Q1 performance, TPREL’s total rooftop solar installations across India have reached 2,04,443, with a cumulative solar capacity of over 3.4 GW.

This massive growth puts Tata Power far ahead in the rooftop solar space. It’s not just leading the market—it’s setting the pace.

And the best part? It’s not slowing down.

More Than Business: A National Mission

At the heart of this growth is a bigger goal. India wants to hit 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. And rooftop solar is a big part of that.

TPREL’s Ghar Ghar Solar campaign is already supporting the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, making solar energy more affordable and accessible for homes, shops, and factories alike.

This isn’t about installing panels. It’s about changing how we think about energy—from centralised control to local empowerment.

Tailored for Every Roof

From big factories to small homes, TPREL provides custom solar solutions. Whether it’s for a business trying to cut power costs or a family wanting to save the planet (and some rupees), Tata Power is making clean energy a daily reality.

And with this kind of growth, Tata Power is showing what real leadership looks like.
