Tesla, the electric car company owned by Elon Musk, is expanding its presence in India. Just a few weeks after opening its first showroom in Mumbai, Tesla will open its second showroom in Delhi on August 11.
The new Tesla Experience Centre will be located at Worldmark 3, Aerocity — a prime location that will serve customers from across the National Capital Region (NCR). This comes as part of India’s growing push towards electric mobility.

Tesla announced the Delhi launch on social media platform X with the message: “Arriving in Delhi – stay tuned”, along with a stylish graphic.

The Delhi showroom follows Tesla’s recent moves in Mumbai, where it opened its first showroom at Maker Maxity Mall in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and launched its first charging station in the city.
Last month, Tesla officially entered the Indian market by launching its Model Y electric SUV. The car is available in two versions:
- Rear-Wheel Drive: starting at ₹60 lakh
- Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive: starting at ₹68 lakh
Customers can also opt for Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) package for an extra ₹6 lakh.
Deliveries of the Model Y in India are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025. For now, it is Tesla’s only model available in the country.
India is now the third-largest car market in the world, making Tesla’s entry a big step forward for the country’s electric vehicle (EV) industry.
