‘The Cowardly Iranian Dictator…’: Israel Vows Ruthless Payback After Hospital Strike

Israel is furious. And it’s fighting back.

On Thursday, a deadly Iranian missile slammed into Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva — one of Israel’s biggest hospitals. The strike left parts of the hospital in ruins. Patients, doctors, and nurses ran for their lives. Videos online show thick smoke, chaos, and people helping each other escape the damage.

This wasn’t an accident. At least that’s what Israeli officials are saying.

“This was a war crime,” said Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel. “Iran deliberately targeted civilians.”

The hospital is a major site in southern Israel, treating over a million people. It’s also the first stop for wounded soldiers and civilians from the south.

Iran’s Excuse, Israel’s Outrage

Iran’s state news agency, IRNA, claimed the hospital was close to a military command site — hinting the hospital wasn’t the main target. But Israel isn’t buying it. Leaders say that’s just a lame excuse to cover up a war crime.

President Isaac Herzog didn’t hold back either. He accused Iran of targeting “vulnerable patients” and said Israel won’t let it slide.

Israel Hits Back — Hard

Just hours later, Israeli fighter jets launched a wave of strikes inside Iran. The military confirmed attacks on key nuclear and missile production sites. That includes a direct hit on the Arak heavy-water nuclear reactor and strikes on Natanz — a known site for nuclear research.

“We hit them where it hurts,” said Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.

Katz didn’t mince words. He called Iran’s Supreme Leader “a coward” who hides in a bunker while launching missiles at hospitals. “These are war crimes,” he said. “And Khamenei will pay the price.”

What’s Next?

Tensions are sky-high. Both countries are accusing each other of crossing red lines. Israel says its strikes will continue until Iran backs off. Iran, on the other hand, may retaliate again.

But for now, Israel is standing firm. It wants the world to see what Iran did — and it’s making sure the world sees what happens next.
