A serious accident took place on the sets of the upcoming Telugu film The India House, starring Nikhil Siddhartha and produced by actor Ram Charan.
During a shoot near Shamshabad, the crew was filming a scene with a sea backdrop when a water tank on the set suddenly burst. This caused heavy flooding in the area. As a result, several crew members, including an assistant cameraman, were injured. The assistant cameraman was badly hurt in the accident.
A video showing the flooded set is going viral on social media. It shows crew members trying to save equipment and other materials from the damaged set.
At the time of reporting, the Shamshabad police had not received any official complaint or report about the incident. It is also not confirmed whether Nikhil Siddhartha was present when the accident occurred.
The India House is Ram Charan’s first production project. The film also stars Anupam Kher and is directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna, who is making his directorial debut. The movie was officially announced in 2023 on the 140th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Veer Savarkar.
