TVS Motor Company is gearing up to launch a brand-new 450cc twin-cylinder motorcycle in India. This upcoming bike will be a fully-faired sports model and is expected to be more powerful than the current Apache RR 310.
Developed with BMW Motorrad
The new motorcycle will be built on a 450cc twin-cylinder platform that TVS is co-developing with BMW Motorrad. This same platform was first introduced with the BMW F 450 GS at the EICMA 2024 bike show and has already been spotted testing in India.

TVS plans to use this platform for its own high-performance bike, which might be named Apache RR 450, though the name hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. The 450cc engine is a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin setup producing 48 PS of power and 45 Nm of torque. It features a unique 125-degree firing angle—something no other bike in the world has done before.
More Than Just One Bike
TVS also owns the Norton brand and plans to release a 450cc Norton motorcycle based on the same engine but with a softer performance setup. While the Apache RR 450 will be a sporty supersport bike, the Norton model will have a neo-retro roadster design.
Electric Scooter Also Coming
In addition to petrol-powered bikes, TVS is also working on a new electric scooter that will focus more on performance, unlike the current iQube series which is designed for families. This new e-scooter is expected to launch within this financial year.
