Electric scooters are becoming more popular, and Ultraviolette’s Tesseract is leading the way in India. Following the success of their Shockwave model, Ultraviolette has once again extended the special introductory price for the Tesseract e-scooter. This makes it more affordable for eco-friendly commuters and scooter enthusiasts. The move is part of the company’s strategy to attract more buyers in the fast-growing electric vehicle (EV) market.

Why the Price Extension is Important

The Ultraviolette Tesseract electric scooter is available in three variants, each offering different battery capacities and corresponding ranges:

3.5 kWh Variant: This base model is priced at ₹1,20,000 (ex-showroom) and offers a claimed Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of 162 km on a single full charge.

5 kWh Variant: While specific pricing details for this mid-tier variant are yet to be officially announced, it is expected to be around ₹1,70,000 (ex-showroom). This variant offers a claimed IDC range of 220 km.

6 kWh Variant: Pricing for the top-tier variant has not been officially disclosed, but estimates suggest it will be approximately ₹2,00,000 (ex-showroom). This variant offers a claimed IDC range of 261 km.

IT has introduced special introductory pricing to make the Tesseract more accessible. The first 10,000 customers can purchase the base 3.5 kWh variant at ₹1,20,000 (ex-showroom).The subsequent 50,000 customers can avail the same variant at ₹1,30,000 (ex-showroom).These strategic pricing initiatives aim to attract a broader audience in India’s rapidly growing electric vehicle market.
