Vietnam-based electric vehicle (EV) company VinFast Auto India has opened its largest showroom in India in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This marks the company’s second showroom in the country — the first one was launched in Surat, Gujarat.
Located in Teynampet, the 4,700 sq ft showroom will display VinFast’s premium electric SUVs, VF 6 and VF 7. The company says this Chennai showroom is not only their first in Tamil Nadu but also their biggest showroom in India so far.

VinFast is planning a major expansion across India. By the end of the year, it aims to open 35 showrooms in 27 cities.
VinFast Asia CEO, Pham Sanh Chau, said that Chennai is the perfect place for their growth because of its strong infrastructure, skilled workforce, and innovative environment. He added that through their partnership with Maansarovar Motors, they want to make EV ownership easier and more exciting for people in Tamil Nadu.
To improve its services, VinFast has also teamed up with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure to build a strong network for charging stations and after-sales service across India.
