In the IPL 2025 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals, Virat Kohli made history by becoming the first player ever to hit 100 boundaries (fours and sixes) against seven different teams.
This achievement came after Kohli scored his fifth half-century of the season, which moved him up from eighth to second place in the race for the Orange Cap. The Orange Cap is given to the player with the most runs in the tournament.

Kohli’s remarkable feat means he has now hit 100 or more boundaries against every IPL team that has played in the tournament since it started in 2008. This includes teams like Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
