Volkswagen is bringing excitement to the Indian car market by introducing two international models — the Golf GTI and the Tiguan R Line. Recently, spotters saw the Golf GTI on Indian roads without any camouflage, indicating an imminent launch. Known for its speed and style, the GTI will arrive in India in limited numbers as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

The eighth-generation Golf GTI was spotted in a sleek grey color. It features a blacked-out B-pillar and unique alloy wheels. The front bumper has black inserts, and the car sports a single-tip exhaust. The iconic GTI badge on the front door adds to its sporty charm, making it stand out on the road.

Although the interior hasn’t been revealed yet, it is expected to match the international version closely. Likely features include:

Power and Performance
A 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine powers the Golf GTI, delivering 261 hp and 370 Nm of torque. The 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission helps the GTI accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.9 seconds. It reaches a top speed of 250 kmph.
