Volkswagen India is getting ready to launch the Tiguan R-Line, a sporty version of its popular SUV, on April 14. The company has started accepting bookings and has shared details about its engine and color options.

The Tiguan R-Line will come with a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine. It will be available in six colors: Oryx White Mother of Pearl Effect, Oyster Silver Metallic, Persimmon Red Metallic, Cyprussian Green Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic

This SUV will also include Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for better safety. It is expected to cost around ₹55 lakh and will compete with cars like the Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson. The Tiguan R-Line will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

The Tiguan R-Line is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, delivering 204hp and 320Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, ensuring a smooth and powerful driving experience.

For better performance on different terrains, the SUV includes Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel-drive system, which improves traction and stability.
