A shocking incident took place in Bengaluru, where the body of a 32-year-old woman was found stuffed in a suitcase inside a house. The police have detained her husband from Mumbai on suspicion of murder.
According to the Bengaluru police, the woman’s husband, Rakesh Rajendra Khedekar, called both the Maharashtra Police and the landlord of the house, informing them about the body of his wife, Gouri Anil Sambrekar. He had already left Bengaluru on March 25 and made the call on Thursday.

The house owner immediately alerted the Bengaluru police at around 5:30 PM, and a team was sent to the house in Doddakammanahalli village, under the Hulimavu police limits. Initially, the police suspected it could be a case of suicide, but upon reaching the house, they discovered Sambrekar’s body inside a suitcase in the bathroom. A forensic team later confirmed that she had a stab wound. The reason behind the murder is still unknown.
