Looking for a flagship smartphone with a powerful camera? While popular options like the Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max exist, two new smartphones—Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Vivo X200 Pro—are making waves for their advanced camera features. Let’s compare their design, display, camera, performance, battery, and price to help you decide which one is the best fit.

Design and Display

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a stylish glass and metal body with a premium touch of vegan leather on one side. It features a large circular camera module on the back. The Vivo X200 Pro, on the other hand, has a more classic look with a glass back and a similar circular camera setup. Both phones are water-resistant (IP68), but Vivo offers extra protection with an IP69 rating.

For the display, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a 6.73-inch LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3200 nits. It also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid for better visuals. The Vivo X200 Pro comes with a slightly larger 6.78-inch LTPO display, the same 120Hz refresh rate, and a much brighter screen with 4500 nits peak brightness. However, Xiaomi’s display offers a sharper resolution with 68 billion colors.

Camera Comparison

If you love photography, both phones offer high-end camera systems.

  • The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a Leica-tuned quad-camera setup:

    • 50MP main camera (1-inch sensor)

    • 200MP periscope camera (4.3x optical zoom)

    • 50MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom)

    • 50MP ultrawide camera

  • The Vivo X200 Pro has a Zeiss-tuned triple-camera setup:

    • 50MP main camera (1/1.28-inch sensor)

    • 200MP periscope camera (3.7x optical zoom)

    • 50MP ultrawide camera

Both phones support 8K and 4K 60fps video recording, but Xiaomi offers better zoom and portrait shots.

Performance and Battery

  • The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, delivering top-tier performance.

  • The Vivo X200 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip with the same 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. While powerful, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset in Xiaomi generally performs better in gaming and multitasking.
