BYD India has launched the updated 2025 Seal EV in India, starting at Rs. 41 lakh (ex-showroom). While the changes aren’t major, the updated model comes with a few important upgrades. Here are the top five updates:
Improved Suspension
The Premium version of the Seal now features Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD), which improve the ride quality and comfort.

‘DiSus-C’ System
The Performance version gets the ‘DiSus-C’ system, which automatically adjusts the suspension to make the ride softer or firmer based on the road and your driving style.
Better Air Conditioning
The Seal now has a better air conditioning system, including a power sunshade for added comfort. The new air conditioning has a bigger compressor for quicker cooling and also includes an air purifier.

Wireless Connectivity
The 2025 Seal comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard, allowing you to connect your phone without needing wires.
New Auxiliary Battery
The car’s auxiliary battery is now a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) unit. It’s lighter, more efficient, and lasts longer—up to 15 years. This new battery is six times lighter than the older lead acid batteries.
These updates improve the Seal’s overall driving experience, making it more comfortable, connected, and efficient.
