Aston Martin Vanquish Launched in India at ₹8.85 Crore

The British luxury carmaker Aston Martin has launched its flagship model, the Vanquish, in India. Priced at ₹8.85 crore (ex-showroom), this high-end grand tourer has made a comeback after six years. The car was globally unveiled in September 2024 and will be produced in limited numbers, with only 1,000 units made per year.

Design

The new Aston Martin Vanquish features a bold and sculpted design. It has a wider stance, a signature grille, and teardrop-shaped headlights. The car shares its aluminium chassis with the DB12 and Vantage but is longer with an extended front. Key design features include:

  • Carbon-fibre fender strakes

  • 21-inch forged wheels with custom Pirelli tyres

  • Quad exhausts at the rear

  • Aerodynamic diffuser

  • A unique ‘Shield’ panel that stretches over the taillights

Chassis & Handling

The new Vanquish has improved stiffness for better handling. Compared to the DBS 770 Ultimate, it has:

  • 75% more lateral stiffness (for better stability)

  • A longer wheelbase (by 80 mm)

  • A stronger engine cross member for better rigidity

  • Bilstein DTX dampers and wider anti-roll bars for improved ride quality

Features

The 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish is packed with luxury features, including:

  • Panoramic sunroof with UV protection

  • Advanced LED DRLs and Matrix LED headlights

  • 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with full connectivity

  • Fully digital driver’s display of the same size

Power & Performance

Under the hood, the Vanquish is powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 petrol engine that delivers:

  • 823 horsepower

  • 1,000 Nm of peak torque

  • 0-100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds

  • Top speed of 344 kmph

  • 8-speed automatic transmission (ZF) that sends power to the rear wheels

Price & Customization

The Aston Martin Vanquish costs ₹8.85 crore (ex-showroom) and does not include optional accessories. However, buyers can personalise their car with:

  • Carbon fibre packages

  • Special paint finishes

  • Luxury interior materials like leather, Alcantara, and wood
