Navratri is a major Hindu festival dedicated to Goddess Durga. It is celebrated for nine days with great joy across India. There are four types of Navratris celebrated in a year—Chaitra Navratri, Magha Gupt Navratri, Ashadha Gupt Navratri, and Shardiya Navratri. The most popular ones are Chaitra and Shardiya Navratri.

In 2025, Navratri will begin on March 30 and end on April 7.
Each day of Navratri has a special colour associated with it, and wearing these colours is believed to bring blessings from the Goddess. Below is the list of the nine colours and their meanings:
Navratri Day 1 – Orange
