Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra Share Emotional Tributes to Manoj Kumar: "Every Moment Will Be Missed"

The Indian film industry is deeply saddened by the death of legendary actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar, who passed away early on Friday, April 4, 2025. His death has touched many hearts, and people from across the film world are remembering him with love and respect.

 Amitabh Bachchan Pays Tribute

Amitabh Bachchan, who shared a close bond with Manoj Kumar, visited his home on Saturday morning with his son, Abhishek Bachchan, to pay his last respects. A video from the visit showed a quiet and emotional atmosphere at Manoj Kumar’s house, where many people had gathered.

 

 

Later, Amitabh posted a heartfelt message on his blog. He shared a beautiful black-and-white photo where Manoj Kumar is seen laughing and has his arm around Amitabh. Along with the photo, Amitabh wrote: “In remembrance… and prayer 🙏 in grief.”

Dharmendra Remembers His Dear Friend

Actor Dharmendra also visited Manoj Kumar’s home to say goodbye. He spoke briefly to the media, remembering the time they spent together over the years and the strong friendship they shared.

Later, Dharmendra posted an old photo on Instagram. In the picture, both he and Manoj Kumar are smiling while holding a trophy. Dharmendra is wearing a grey suit and red tie, and Manoj Kumar is dressed in a simple white shirt and trousers.
Along with the photo, Dharmendra wrote:
“Manoj, mere yaar tere saath beeta har pal bahut yaad ayega.”

Many fans and celebrities reacted to the post. His son, Bobby Deol, also left a red heart emoji in the comments, showing his love and respect.

Final Goodbye with State Honours

On Saturday, April 5, Manoj Kumar was cremated at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai with full state honours. Family, friends, and many members of the film industry came together to say their final goodbyes.

Manoj Kumar will always be remembered for his incredible contribution to Indian cinema and the deep friendships he built during his lifetime.
