Fire Breaks Out at Mumbai’s ED Office! Find Out What Happened!

Massive Fire Breaks Out at Enforcement Directorate Office

A big fire started early Sunday morning at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Ballard Estate, South Mumbai. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

The fire department got a call about the fire at the Kaiser-I-Hind building, which is home to the ED office, near the Grand Hotel on Currimbhoy Road at 2:31 am. Firefighters quickly reached the scene and began putting out the flames.

By 3:30 am, the fire was declared a major incident (Level-II), meaning it was a serious fire. The fire was mostly confined to the fourth floor of the five-story building.

Eight fire engines, six water tankers, one aerial water tower, a rescue van, and an ambulance were all sent to the site to help control the fire. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
