TVS is getting ready to launch its first-ever adventure bike, the RTX 300, and it was recently seen being tested on public roads. Interestingly, it was spotted riding next to its rivals – the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure.
Earlier this year, the bike was first shown at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, and now it has been spotted again, fully covered during road tests.
Even though the test bike was camouflaged, a leaked photo from the expo already gave us a good look at its design. The TVS RTX 300 looks tall and sporty, much like other TVS Apache bikes. It has sharp body panels and a stylish front. Since it’s an adventure bike, it also comes with features like a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, strong engine protection, sump guard, big grab rail, and a luggage rack.

The bike also gets 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels with block-pattern tyres for off-road use. The suspension seems to offer good travel and ground clearance, making it suitable for rough roads. The seat looks spacious and comfortable, with the rider sitting in an upright position.
In terms of tech, TVS is likely to pack the bike with features like a TFT digital screen, traction control, switchable ABS, cruise control, and different riding modes.
The RTX 300 is powered by a brand-new 299cc liquid-cooled engine developed by TVS. This motor produces 35bhp of power and 28.5Nm of torque. It replaces the older BMW-sourced engine used in the Apache RR 310. The bike also comes with a 6-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts.

With the bike being tested on roads and already patented, TVS is expected to officially launch the RTX 300 in the next 3-4 months.
