5 Pakistani Terrorists Killed in Operation Sindoor Strike

Five terrorists from Pakistan-based terror groups, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), were killed during Operation Sindoor. This operation took place when Indian forces attacked terror camps deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK) early in the morning on May 7. Sources have shared the names of these terrorists: Mudassar Khadian Khas, Hafiz Muhammed Jameel, Mohammad Yusuf Azhar, Khalid (also known as Abu Akasha), and Mohammad Hassan Khan.

Photos of top Pakistani military officers attending the funeral of these terrorists in uniform went viral. These images have exposed the long-standing connection between Pakistan’s army and terrorists. India has pointed out these photos as clear proof of Pakistan’s involvement in global terrorism.

Mudassar Khadian Khas
Mudassar Khas, also known as Abu Jundal, was connected with Lashkar-e-Taiba. He was in charge of the Markaz Taiba terror camp located in Muridke, Pakistan, which is about 25 km from the Indian border. This camp was the headquarters of LeT. Ajmal Kasab, the only terrorist caught alive in the 2008 Mumbai attacks, admitted that he trained at this camp. Khas’ funeral was led by Hafiz Abdul Rauf, a global terrorist, at a government school. The Pakistan Army gave Khas a guard of honor, with high-ranking officers laying a wreath on behalf of Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir.

Hafiz Muhammed Jameel
Hafiz Muhammed Jameel was linked with Jaish-e-Mohammed and was the brother-in-law of Maulana Masood Azhar, the founder of JeM. He ran the Markaz Subhan Allah camp in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, where he helped recruit and train new terrorists. This camp was regularly visited by Masood Azhar. The Indian strike on May 7 killed at least 10 members of Azhar’s family and four of his aides.

Mohammad Yusuf Azhar
Mohammad Yusuf Azhar, also known as Ustad Ji or Mohd Salim, was involved with Jaish-e-Mohammed. He was also a brother-in-law of Masood Azhar and was in charge of weapons training for JeM. He was linked to several terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and the 1999 hijacking of Indian Airlines flight IC-814, known as the Kandahar hijacking. This hijacking led to Masood Azhar’s release from Indian custody in exchange for the hostages.

Abu Akasha (Khalid)
Abu Akasha, also known as Khalid, was a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist who took part in several attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. He was also involved in smuggling weapons from Afghanistan for LeT. His funeral in Faisalabad was attended by high-ranking Pakistan Army officials and the Deputy Commissioner of Faisalabad.

Mohammad Hassan Khan
Mohammad Hassan Khan was a member of the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed. He was the son of Mufti Asghar Khan Kashmiri, an operational commander of JeM in POK. Hassan Khan played an important role in organizing terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
