Lava has launched its new budget-friendly smartphone, the Lava Shark 5G, in India, priced at just ₹7,999. The phone is available in two colors – Stellar Gold and Stellar Blue – and comes in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

It features a large 6.75-inch HD+ display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, ideal for watching videos and browsing. Powered by the Unisoc T765 octa-core processor and LPDDR4X RAM, the Shark 5G is designed for better multitasking and app performance.
The phone has a 13MP rear camera for capturing clear photos in various lighting conditions and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It packs a strong 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, although only a 10W charger is included in the box.
Running on the latest Android 15, the smartphone also features a bloatware-free user interface, face unlock, and IP54 certification for protection against dust and splashes. The Lava Shark 5G is now available on the Lava e-store and retail outlets across the country, offering a great combination of features, performance, and affordability.
