Qatar and Belarus are working together to improve animal health by developing local veterinary vaccines and medicines. Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality recently held a meeting with a team of veterinary experts from Belarus to discuss how both countries can cooperate in this area.

Focus on Stopping Animal Epidemics

The main goal of the meeting was to find ways to prevent the spread of diseases among animals. Both countries agreed to work together by sharing scientific knowledge and new technologies. They also plan to set up systems that support better animal health both within their countries and in the region.

Boosting Local Vaccine Production

Qatar wants to start producing veterinary medicines and vaccines locally. This will help the country become more self-reliant and protect its animal population without depending too much on imported products. The meeting focused on how Belarus could help Qatar with the latest techniques in vaccine production.
