“He Worked Hard to Become King Khan”

Kajol said Shah Rukh is a huge star and fully deserves to be called “King Khan.” She praised his dedication and hard work, saying,

“If he calls himself King Khan, it’s because he’s worked very hard to reach that level. The credit for his success goes only to him.”

She also mentioned that their mutual respect and strong working relationship played a big part in the success of their films together.

“He Told Me: Learn How to Act”

Kajol remembered a valuable piece of advice Shah Rukh gave her when she was starting out. He told her,

“Baby, you better learn how to act. Giving your all in every scene will wear you out.”

At the time, Kajol didn’t fully understand what he meant and continued to give 100% in every scene. But soon, the pressure caught up with her.

“I Wanted to Quit Films at 18”

During the filming of Udhaar Ki Zindagi when Kajol was just 18, she became emotionally exhausted. The roles she played were intense and emotionally draining.

She said,

“I was so tired. I told my mother I didn’t want to do films anymore. I felt burnt out. I couldn’t keep crying in every role or giving so much of myself.”

That’s when she realized what Shah Rukh meant. She learned that acting is also about technique, not just emotion. From then on, she focused on balancing her energy while performing.
